How do I confirm my IP address?

Each time a user needs to access the PBX / PBX GUI from an unconfirmed IP, it is necessary to first confirm his/her IP in PBX.

IP Confirmation can be done in two ways:

1. Manually, from the Home> Information section, the IP Status tab

Step 1. Access PBX:

Step 2. Fill in the Username and Password in the next window to authenticate in the control PBX GUI.

If you have not received this information, please contact the person in charge within your organization (the PBX administrator)

Step 3. Go to the Home > Information section

Step 4. Your IP address will be filled in automatically. Click Confirm IP and Re-apply rules

Please note!
Users can confirm their IPs from the PBX GUI only if:
  • they were granted this right! (see section 1.2. above).
  • they access PBX from an already whitelisted IP or if the access to the PBX GUI is public

The IP address is provided by the internet service provider and can be changed daily or even several times a day. For this reason, we recommend that the VALIDITY section remain configured Today.
In case you have trouble identifying the type of IP from which you will connect (static / dynamic), we recommend that you ask for assistance from your internet provider, then follow the steps indicated above or ask for support at .

2. Automatically, by clicking on a link that confirms the user's IP in PBX Whitelist

You can use a link for IP confirmation:

/index.php?w=tools&s=user-actions&a=ip&hash=XXXXXX

The following constants will need to be configured:

IP_CONFIRM_HASH: XXXXXX
IP_CONFIRM_DEFAULT_VALIDITY: 1w

Please note: In order for this service to work, Public HTTP must be set to Yes.
